Kepler-1571 and Its Super-Earth

Kepler-1571 is a star located 2200 light-years away, and it hosts one known planet. The star is estimated to be 2.34 billion years old, with a mass of 1.23 solar masses and a radius of 1.39 solar radii. Its temperature is 6300 K, and its reported mass, radius, and temperature are all larger or hotter than the Sun's.

The planet, Kepler-1571 b, is classified as a Super-Earth and was discovered in 2016 by the transit method, in which a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint and causes a small dip in observed brightness. It orbits with an orbital period of 3.39 days and has a radius of 1.52 Earth radii, larger than Earth's radius.
