Kepler-155 and Its Two Super-Earths

Kepler-155 is an M-type dwarf, a small, cool red dwarf, lying 957 light-years away. Its spectral type is M0 V. The star is 2.9 billion years old, holds 0.542 solar masses and 0.529 solar radii, and has a temperature of 4060 K. Its reported mass and radius estimates are smaller than the Sun's, and its reported temperature is cooler. Two planets orbit this host, both discovered by transit in 2014.

Kepler-155 b and Kepler-155 c are both classified as Super-Earths, a size class reaching 2.5 times Earth's radius. Kepler-155 b has an orbital period of 5.93 days and a radius of 2.09 Earth radii. Kepler-155 c has an orbital period of 52.7 days and a radius of 2.24 Earth radii. Both reported radius estimates are larger than Earth's. Among the listed planets, Kepler-155 b has the shortest year and the smallest radius by reported estimates, while Kepler-155 c has the longest year and the largest radius.
