Kepler-1541 and Its Earth-Like Planet

Kepler-1541 is a star 1360 light-years away with one known planet. The host star is 4.47 billion years old and has a mass of 0.86 solar masses, a radius of 0.81 solar radii, and a temperature of 5280 K. Its mass and radius are smaller than the Sun's, and its temperature is cooler than the Sun's.

The planet Kepler-1541 b was discovered by transit in 2016. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-1541 b has an orbital period of 8.41 days, the time it takes to complete one orbit. Its radius is 1.16 Earth radii, larger than Earth's, and it is classified as Earth-like, meaning its radius stays within 1.5 times Earth's.
