Kepler-1515 and Its Jupiter-like Planet

Kepler-1515 is a star 1760 light-years away with one known planet. The host star is 1.82 billion years old, has a mass of 1.3 solar masses, a radius of 1.41 solar radii, and a temperature of 6510 K. Its mass and radius estimates are larger than the Sun's, and its reported temperature is hotter than the Sun's.

The planet Kepler-1515 b is Jupiter-like, meaning its radius exceeds 4 times Earth's. It was discovered by transit in 2016, when it passed in front of its star from our viewpoint and caused a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-1515 b orbits every 214 days and has a radius of 9.55 Earth radii, larger than Earth's.
