Kepler-1497 and Its Super-Earth

Kepler-1497 is a star with one known planet. It is 4.27 billion years old, has 0.96 solar masses, 0.95 solar radii, and a temperature of 5680 K.

The planet is Kepler-1497 b, a Super-Earth discovered by transit in 2016. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-1497 b orbits every 8.74 days and has a radius of 1.66 Earth radii. Its reported radius estimate is larger than Earth's.
