Kepler-1466 and Its Super-Earth

Kepler-1466 is a star located 2060 light-years away. It has 1.01 solar masses, 1.02 solar radii, a temperature of 5880 K, and an age of 3.89 billion years. One planet is known to orbit this star.

That planet is Kepler-1466 b, classified as a Super-Earth, a size class that reaches 2.5 times Earth's radius. It was discovered in 2016 by the transit method, in which a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint and causes a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-1466 b has a radius of 1.55 Earth radii and an orbital period of 31.2 days. Its reported radius estimate is larger than Earth's.
