Kepler-1454 and Its Super-Earth

Kepler-1454 is a star 2550 light-years away with one known planet. The host star is 4.57 billion years old and has a mass of 0.9 solar masses, a radius of 0.86 solar radii, and a temperature of 5450 K. Its reported mass and radius estimates are smaller than the Sun's, and its reported temperature is cooler than the Sun's.

The planet Kepler-1454 b is a Super-Earth discovered by transit in 2016. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-1454 b orbits every 47 days and has a radius of 1.88 Earth radii, larger than Earth's.
