Kepler-1450 and Its Super-Earth

Kepler-1450 is a star 1650 light-years away with one known planet. The host star is 4.37 billion years old and has a mass of 0.71 solar masses and a radius of 0.68 solar radii. Its temperature is 4520 K, cooler than the Sun, and its reported mass and radius estimates are both smaller than the Sun's.

The system's only known planet is Kepler-1450 b, a Super-Earth discovered by transit in 2016. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-1450 b orbits its star every 54.5 days and has a radius of 1.71 Earth radii, larger than Earth's.
