Kepler-1363 and Its Earth-Like Planet

Kepler-1363 is a star 1770 light-years away with one known planet, Kepler-1363 b. The host star is 4.17 billion years old, has a mass of 0.76 solar masses, a radius of 0.72 solar radii, and a temperature of 4840 K. Its reported mass and radius estimates are smaller than the Sun's, and its reported temperature is cooler than the Sun's.

Kepler-1363 b was discovered in 2016 by the transit method, in which a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint and causes a small dip in observed brightness; repeated dips help establish orbital periods. The planet completes an orbit in 2.94 days and has a radius of 1.25 Earth radii, larger than Earth's. Its Earth-like classification places it within 1.5 times Earth's radius.
