Kepler-1332 and Its Earth-Like Planet

Kepler-1332 is a star 1720 light-years away with one known planet. The host star is 3.24 billion years old and has a mass of 0.95 solar masses and a radius of 0.9 solar radii, both smaller than the Sun's, with a temperature of 5580 K that is cooler than the Sun's.

The lone planet, Kepler-1332 b, was discovered by transit in 2016, when it passed in front of its star and caused a small dip in observed brightness. It is classified as Earth-like, meaning it stays within 1.5 times Earth's radius, and its radius of 1.37 Earth radii is larger than Earth's. The planet completes one orbit every 11.9 days. No orbital period is recorded for the star itself; the recorded period belongs to the planet.
