Kepler-1135 and Its Super-Earth

Kepler-1135 is a star located 4290 light-years away. It has 0.96 solar masses, 0.94 solar radii, an age of 4.47 billion years, and a temperature of 5660 K. Its reported temperature is cooler than the Sun's. One planet is known to orbit this star.

That planet is Kepler-1135 b, a Super-Earth discovered by transit in 2016. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-1135 b completes an orbit every 77 days and has a radius of 1.85 Earth radii, larger than Earth's.
