Kepler-1084 and Its Earth-Like Planet

Kepler-1084 is a star located 1320 light-years away, and one planet orbits it. The star is 4.07 billion years old, with a mass of 1.12 solar masses and a radius of 1.28 solar radii. Its reported temperature is 6110 K. The star's reported mass and radius estimates are larger than the Sun's, and its reported temperature is hotter than the Sun's.

The system's only known planet is Kepler-1084 b, an Earth-like world discovered by the transit method in 2016. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-1084 b completes an orbit in 2.05 days and has a radius of 1.11 Earth radii, placing it within the Earth-like size class, which covers planets up to 1.5 times Earth's radius.
