Kepler-1067 is a star located 2180 light-years away, with two planets known to orbit it. The host star is 4.79 billion years old, has a mass of 0.95 solar masses, a radius of 0.93 solar radii, and a temperature of 5590 K. Its mass is smaller than the Sun's, and its temperature is cooler than the Sun's.
The two planets were both found by the transit method, which detects the slight dimming caused when a planet crosses in front of its star. Kepler-1067 b was discovered in 2016 and is classified as a Sub-Earth, a size class for planets smaller than Earth. It has a radius of 0.8 Earth radii, smaller than Earth's, and an orbital period of 0.762 days. Kepler-1067 c was discovered in 2021 and is a Super-Earth, a class reaching up to 2.5 times Earth's radius. It has a radius of 1.75 Earth radii, larger than Earth's, and an orbital period of 5.43 days. Among the listed planets, Kepler-1067 b has the shortest year and the smallest radius, while Kepler-1067 c has the longest year and the largest radius.
