Kepler-1037 and Its Earth-like Planet

Kepler-1037 is a star located 1460 light-years away, and it hosts one known planet. The star is 5.13 billion years old and has a mass of 0.82 solar masses, a radius of 0.78 solar radii, and a temperature of 5110 K. Its mass and radius are each smaller than the Sun's, and its temperature is cooler than the Sun's.

The planet Kepler-1037 b was discovered by transit in 2016. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-1037 b is classified as Earth-like and orbits once every 1.06 days. Its radius is 1.28 Earth radii, which is larger than Earth's.
