KIC 5437945 and Its Two Jupiter-Like Planets

KIC 5437945 is a star 4160 light-years away with two known planets. The star is 3.16 billion years old, has a mass of 1.17 solar masses, a radius of 1.26 solar radii, and a temperature of 6150 K. Its reported mass and radius estimates are larger than the Sun's, and its reported temperature is hotter than the Sun's.

Both planets are Jupiter-like, meaning their radii exceed 4 times Earth's radius. KIC 5437945 b was discovered by transit in 2015. It has an orbital period of 441 days - the longest year among the listed planets - and a radius of 6.4 Earth radii, the largest among them and larger than Earth's.

Kepler-460 c was also discovered by transit, in 2016. It has an orbital period of 220 days - the shortest year among the listed planets - and a radius of 5.52 Earth radii, the smallest among them and larger than Earth's.
