K2-407: A Sun-Like Star With Two Earth-Like Planets

K2-407 is a G4 star located 712 light-years from Earth. Its mass is 0.965 solar masses, its radius is 0.951 solar radii, and its temperature is 5500 K - cooler than the Sun's. Two planets are known to orbit this host.

Both planets are Earth-like in size classification and were discovered by the transit method in 2022. K2-407 b has an orbital period of 4.94 days and a radius of 1.28 Earth radii, making it the shortest-year and smallest-radius planet among the listed planets. K2-407 c has an orbital period of 9.22 days and a radius of 1.36 Earth radii, making it the longest-year and largest-radius planet among the listed planets. Both radii are larger than Earth's.
