K2-376 b: A Super-Earth Around a Sun-Like Star

K2-376 is a G1 star located 527 light-years away. It has a mass of 0.908 solar masses, a radius of 1.15 solar radii, and a temperature of 5940 K. Its reported radius estimate is larger than the Sun's, and its reported temperature is hotter than the Sun's. One planet orbits this star.

K2-376 b is a Super-Earth discovered by transit in 2022. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. The planet completes an orbit every 5.78 days. Its radius is 1.74 Earth radii, larger than Earth's.
