HD 67087 is a star located 250 light-years from Earth. Its spectral type is F8 V, and it is 1.45 billion years old. The star has a mass of 1.36 solar masses, a radius of 1.55 solar radii, and a temperature of 6330 K. Its reported mass, radius, and temperature are each larger or hotter than the Sun's corresponding values. Two planets are known to orbit this host.
Both planets were discovered in 2015 by the radial velocity method, which measures the wobble a planet's gravity induces in its star's motion; repeated wobbles reveal the planet and its orbital period.
HD 67087 b has a minimum mass of 973 Earth masses and an orbital period of 352 days, giving it the shortest year among the listed planets. Its minimum mass is larger than Earth's and is roughly 3.06 times Jupiter's mass.
HD 67087 c has a minimum mass of 1540 Earth masses and an orbital period of 2370 days, the longest year among the listed planets. Its minimum mass is larger than Earth's and is roughly 4.85 times Jupiter's mass. Among the listed planets, HD 67087 b has the smallest minimum mass and HD 67087 c has the largest.
