HD 207832 is a G5 V star located 192 light-years away, and two planets have been reported in orbit around it. As a G-type main-sequence dwarf, it is Sun-like in classification, though its reported radius of 0.89 solar radii is smaller than the Sun's and its temperature of 5730 K is cooler. The star is estimated to be 1.36 billion years old and to hold 1.05 solar masses.
Both planets were discovered in 2012 using the radial velocity method, which detects the gravitational wobble a planet induces in its star. HD 207832 b has a minimum mass of 178 Earth masses and an orbital period of 160 days, giving it the shortest year among the listed planets. HD 207832 c is the more distant of the pair, with a minimum mass of 232 Earth masses and an orbital period of 1160 days, the longest year among the listed planets. Each minimum mass is a lower bound on the planet's true mass, and both exceed Earth's mass.
