HD 113337 and Its Two Known Planets

HD 113337 is a star 118 light-years away with two known planets, both found by the radial velocity method, which detects the wobble a planet's gravity induces in its star's motion. The host is an F6 V star, a hotter, more massive class than the Sun, with a reported mass of 1.4 solar masses, a radius of 1.5 solar radii, a temperature of 6580 K, and an age of 0.15 billion years.

HD 113337 b was discovered in 2013 and has a minimum mass of 1040 Earth masses, a lower bound on its true mass, and an orbital period of 318 days. HD 113337 c was discovered in 2020 and has a reported mass estimate of 6300 Earth masses and an orbital period of 5430 days. Among the listed planets, HD 113337 b has the shortest year by reported estimates and HD 113337 c has the longest.
