HATS-69 is a star 1350 light-years from Earth with one known planet orbiting it. The host star is 8 billion years old and has a mass of 0.892 solar masses and a radius of 0.879 solar radii, both smaller than the Sun's. Its temperature of 5140 K is cooler than the Sun's.
The planet HATS-69 b is a Jupiter-like world discovered by transit in 2018, when it passed in front of its star and caused a small dip in observed brightness. It completes an orbit every 2.23 days. Its radius of 10.6 Earth radii exceeds Earth's, placing it beyond the Jupiter-like threshold of four Earth radii. Its mass of 183 Earth masses is also larger than Earth's, and its mean density is 0.85 g/cm³, 0.154 times Earth's.
