HATS-41 is a star 2410 light-years away with one known planet in orbit. The host star is 1.34 billion years old and holds 1.5 solar masses and 1.71 solar radii, making its reported mass and radius estimates larger than the Sun's. Its temperature of 6420 K is hotter than the Sun's.
The system's only cataloged planet is HATS-41 b, a Jupiter-like world discovered by transit in 2018. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. HATS-41 b completes an orbit every 4.19 days, and its radius of 14.9 Earth radii is larger than Earth's. Its mass of 3080 Earth masses, roughly 9.7 times Jupiter's mass, is also larger than Earth's. The planet's mean density is 5.13 g/cm³, 0.93 times Earth's.
