14 Her is a single K-type main-sequence star located 58.5 light-years from us. The system is known to host two planets. The star itself is estimated to be 5.24 billion years old, with a spectral type of K0V, a mass of 1.07 solar masses, a radius of 0.96 solar radii, and a temperature of 5390 K. Its reported mass estimate is larger than the Sun's, while its reported radius estimate is smaller and its reported temperature is cooler.
Both planets were found by the radial velocity method, which detects the subtle wobble a planet's gravity induces in its star's motion. The first, 14 Her b, was discovered in 2002. Its reported mass estimate is 2830 Earth masses, which is larger than Earth's and roughly 8.9 times Jupiter's mass. Among the listed planets, it has the largest reported mass. No orbital period is reported for 14 Her b. The second planet, HD 145675 c, was discovered in 2021. Its reported mass estimate is 2510 Earth masses, which is larger than Earth's and roughly 7.9 times Jupiter's mass. Among the listed planets, it has the smallest reported mass, and no orbital period is reported for it either.
